One of Yuri's abilities allows her to track people down if she has something of theirs'--like a photo, piece of writing, etc. If Yuri attempted to use this on the letter in an attempt to track down Sodder, would it lead her anywhere?
Typically what happens is that a ghost image of the person will appear, which Yuri can see, and it will walk a path towards where the person is. The stronger the connection between the person and the item, the easier it is to find them and the stronger the "trace" is. Sometimes it'll just lead Yuri to the last place the person was seen, sometimes right to them, etc. etc. and of course it's free to send her in circles or to a certain place and then disappear, etc.
SECONDLY: Yuri's got a camera obscura, which has the potential to A. harm supernatural things and B. sometimes reveal how things used to look, or where to go to find things (for example, taking a picture of a locked door. THe picture that develops might show a different location of where one might find the key for said door).
Yuri would be interested in taking pictures of the Church, the Wastes, the Betties/townsfolk, and the Police Department, and I was wondering if there's anything she might get from these pictures? Again it's totally fine if she gets nothing but smudged images or nothing works, I just wanted to know. o7
