Yes, me and mine, because it was the Inquisition that took the mages in when the King refused to give them asylum. I helped to save them and everyone else in Redcliffe from the Venatori along with the Inquisition. [Which may not be the whole truth exactly, he's leaving out the part where the Venatori was his old mentor...among other things. It's personal she doesn't need to know that.]
I may not be from Ferelden but I am still a Mage, and I am still doing what I can to support any and all mages who want peace and to be safe. Regardless of what anyone might initially assume about me. Perhaps the man you know, the man he is now supports the mages, but he didn't then. And he commanded we all leave. Your time and mine are vastly different and perhaps that changes him.
